Beer Pong Tips

So you know the basics and have probably even won a few game. Well a few wins doesn’t cut it if you want to be a beer pong champion. Don’t worry, we have some beer pong tips and techniques to get you to where you need to be.
-
Consistency: This is very important! While everyone has their own unique shot that works best for them, it’s necessary to make sure you're shooting the same each round. Whether that means making sure your feet are in the same place or you're releasing the ball at the same spot, consistency will definitely improve your game.
-
Keep your fingers dry: While it’s good to clean your balls between rounds, you shouldn’t let this routine procedure effect your shot. Always rinse/clean your ball with your non-shooting hand and dry it off before passing it to your good hand. This will ensure that the moisture on the ball won’t affect your shot.
-
Practice on Long Table: …but not too long! Here’s the idea behind it: if you are used to playing on a longer table and then play on your friends shorter table, it will be that much easier to make your shots. We recommend 8 feet long tables as this is the official beer pong table length.
-
Bounce Early in the Game: The idea is that you have more targets early in the game so bouncing is much easier and worth the risk. That said, there are exceptions to the rule like bouncing right after a re-rack.
-
1 Shot, 1 Bounce: Beer pong is mostly about individual skill but there are still some strategies you and your partner can use to gain an advantage. One of which involves having one person shoot a high arched shot while the other person bounces the ball at the exact same moment. If you're lucky you can catch your opponents off-guard and get a bounce in.
-
Distractions: Oh how we love our distractions. For those of you who don’t know, a distraction is anything you do in hopes of getting your opponents to miss. Many are surprised by how effective distractions can be in turning a game around. Depending on your house rules, distracting your opponents might be exactly what you need to win.
Now that you're properly equipped with a few beer pong tips it's time to get out there and win some games. Don't let us down!
